This Whale Tail Lock with 12V Electronic Actuator is a heavy-duty Drop T compression latch designed for vehicle toolboxes, service bodies, and canopy compartments. It combines traditional key locking with a 12V electronic actuator that can be integrated with a vehicle’s central locking system.

This allows compartments to lock and unlock remotely while still providing manual key access or optional padlock security. The folding whale tail handle conceals the key cylinder when closed, helping protect it from dust and debris.
